  • Available in-home and virtually.

Book a prenatal or induced lactation visit and be ready to feed your baby with confidence and a strong support system!

A prenatal visit includes a review of your history, discussion of your infant feeding questions & concerns, breast assessment as it relates to lactation, and education on early breastfeeding / bodyfeeding. Visits also include a written care plan for the first hours & days postpartum, links to educational & local resources, and secure messaging follow-up. If you’re wanting to induce lactation for a baby you’re not carrying, I can help with that too!

A prenatal lactation visit can be especially helpful for:

    • Establishing care with an IBCLC before your baby is born

    • No breast changes during pregnancy or other breast concerns

    • History of breast or nipple surgeries / procedures

    • History of diabetes or gestational diabetes

    • History of PCOS or thyroid or pituitary disorder

    An in-home lactation visit includes:

    • Reviewing your & your baby’s history

    • Assessing you & your baby as it relates to breastfeeding / bodyfeeding

    • Observing a feeding (& milk expression if applicable) including pre- & post-feed weights to check milk transfer

  • "Working with Ally was a very positive part of my birth journey. She provided me with the knowledge, insight, and kindness that I'd only wished I'd had earlier in my postpartum days, but I hadn't known about her work until later! She helped me form a stronger connection with my baby that allowed me to breastfeed more confidently, and she was able to make suggestions I hadn’t received from other providers. Overall I highly recommend working with Ally, especially starting early on so that you can gain the skills you need at the beginning, but if you find her later like I did, she will equip you with what you need to get on track and feel empowered."
